Without announcing when the Lijian 2024B would terminate, the PLA let the drill last only one day. Besides the usual nonchalance from the people of Taiwan, the other concerned parties like the US and Japan could only release some oral but pale comments toward the drill. 

To think on the bright side, dear Islanders, the drills are for your own good. The stronger the drill escalates, the safer your lives and properties will be. I know deep down you believe the peaceful settlement will be the one last option for you, and you are not prepared yourselves to see the drill become a real war.
