有客抱衾愁不寐。Sleepless, the traveler was holding the quilt.

那堪玉漏長如歲。endless; I was counting the hourglass.

羈舍留連歸計未。Abiding too long in an alien place,

夢斷魂銷，一枕相思淚。Awake in heartbroken sorrow, soaking a pillow filled with tears.

衣帶漸寬無別意。The gown has become larger for nothing.

新書報我添憔悴。But for the coming letter, that saddened me more.
