一別都門三改火，天涯踏盡紅塵。 

Three years have elapsed since we parted at the capital, and we have trodden a different path in this mundane world.  

依然一笑作春溫。     

Still, we smile as warm spring when we meet again.   

無波真古井，有節是秋筠。

Tranquility is the well; uprightness is the autumn bamboo. 

惆悵孤帆連夜發，送行淡月微雲。 

Wistful, as you hasten to board a lone sail; pale and dim, as the moon and the cloud amid this leaving-taking.  

尊前不用翠眉顰。

Don’t frown before toasting, singing girl.

人生如逆旅，我亦是行人。

Life is likened to journey, in which I am just a passer-by.
