In my previous writing "I am sorry, but I did you wrong." at http://blog.udn.com/kkuo0810/11197259 , I gave a brief intruduction on Ms. 朱楓(諶之), a CCP spy who was arrested and executed in early 1950 at Taipei. The other night I learned from a talk show that Ms.朱 was shot to death by as many as seven bullets and the last words she chanted were "Long live, CCP." The information made me recall the death of Ms.秋瑾. The only testimony she left was that famous line: "秋風秋雨愁煞人", yet she was brutally beheaded.
In common with each other, both ladies came from Zhejiang Province, were born into wealthy families, and were mothers having children of their own; but most important at all, they were true revolutionaries, stalwart believers. They didnt regret at all for what they had done, and they kept astonishing composure when they were caught. What made them desperately sacrifice their lives without any scruple, there must have some lofty causes that stimulated them to do so. No matter you agree with what they did or not, they are heroines to me.
When Ms.朱楓 was engaging in the espinoage at Taiwan, where were we then? I was a three-years-older in Shanghai with my mother, preparing to join my father and brothers who fleed to Hong Kong earlier. Where were you then? I believe most of you guys were not born yet. Therefore, we should judge her activities from more objective way, that is from historical point of view. When Ms.秋瑾, along with her comrades, was trying to overturn Qing Dynasty, there must have had a lot of conservatives who didnt sympathize her or even abhorred her. Likewise, the islanders may accuse of Ms.朱 and her comrades of "insurgents" or even "bandits", but history will prove that the goal they had been pursuing is an inexorable trend for China. "Why isnt Taidu the final solution?", you may ask. Well, if you think that way, please first find me a latter-day Ms.朱楓 and Ms.秋瑾 among the islanders.
P.S. The guest of the show also said that there is a monument now built in Beijing in commenmeration of spies caught and died in Taiwan, at least 846 of them.

推文推錯了, 沒看清楚內容.
看清楚後, 不能推.
秋瑾 "秋風秋雨愁煞人" 的意境遠遠高於朱楓的 "Long live CCP".
秋瑾想推翻少數異族 (滿族) 統治多數漢族的滿清王朝, 朱楓則替中共黃俄教 (共產主義是外來品) 在中華民國台灣做細作.
秋瑾不是細作.
I admire both ladies' lofty personalities, and history will prove what they did are right things to do, for they died for the great notion of emancipating all Chinese people, not just for the political party of CCP or "同盟會". The true Chinese Communists are real votaries of Dr.Sun Yat-shen's, but not are the Republic of China under the rule of Chiang Kai-shek.
Okay, do you think what the Republic of China(in Taiwan) now is doing has anything to do with China, I mean the whole China and all Chinese people? Retiredbum 於 2014/07/19 00:17回覆
