中歲頗好道，晚家南山陲。

I indulged in Buddhism during my middle age; resided at mountain side near Mt. Zhongnan when I was late in life .

興來每獨往，勝事空自知。

I liked to travel alone whenever in high eagerness, freely seeking funs and intoxicating myself.

行到水窮處，坐看雲起時。

Until walking to the origin of some streams, I would sit and watch the rising clouds that changing like a kaleidoscope.  

偶然值林叟，談笑無還期。

By chance as I met some seniors in woods, I would chat with them and so forget my return trip.
