After a long, gruelling journey from SFO to my home in Taipei just now, I felt totally spent.  I guess I have to fight that troublesome jet lag at least for a couple of days.  For a senior over 70, I do need some rest myself.

As usual, I watched a film during flight.  This time I picked "你好，之華", a Mainland film of vignette style; but I wondered why the picture was directed by a Jap.  From its English title: "Last Letter", you may know it is so portrayed through letters to tell the story among ordinary people like you and me.  Romantic thought in our younger days, not limited to affection, may become lifetime pursuit for someone, while it may fade away and give way to reality for others.  Anyway, that is life.
