Retiredbum notes:  In my writing of yesterday I mentioned that a fellow tourist and a licensed busker strummed a guitar and sang eight songs for us.  The following one was the first and the encore he sang.  The lyric itself is beautifully written, and I would like to share it with you, along with my renderings in English.  (FYI, the lyricist Mr You Mijian was also the mayor of Taipei from 1946 to 1950.)
