It was a special chance for me to experience a different learning way to broaden my horizons by visiting The Taipei Fine Art Museum. So I held a excited and curious attitude anticipating to learn art’s lessons and cultivate a sense of art to deepen my insights.

The Taipei Fine Art Museum’s architecture is a space of multiple combination , so it is a good way to suck abundant and multiple art’s exhibition. This exhibition is the “Madden Reality : Post-Taipei Art Group” exhibition organized by TFAM takes a detailed look at the growth of one art group since the 1990’s. There are many works of art which are outstanding and meaningful that visitors can concentrate on appreciating different artists who show different attitude and picture-style.

Kuo wei-kuo is one of artists I appreciate in this exhibition . His works have two main topic –memory and desire. About desire, because he wants to pursue for something which he can not do in reality word , what he can do is to express on his works to make dream come true . And about memory . In his past time , he had experienced and suffered something cruel and unforgettable . I think that he must be experienced by tasting a flavor of his life. Thought I can not totally tell you why I appreciate him , maybe because his works show the helpless of being shaped by life and are filled with his own self image that I can obtain direct reaction in my heart to stimulate my thoughts and then I can gain different views and inspire my sense of art.
