Aroma of grass enlightens the nose

高山的偉岸使人堅強

Grand mountains give strength

大江的氣勢使人勇敢

Great rivers imbue courage

大海的深邃使人寬容

Deep oceans teach forgiveness

日出的磅礴使人謙卑

Majestic sunrises praise humility

黃昏的穆靜使人安歇

Tranquil sunsets bestow peace

月光的靈秀使人溫柔

Sensitive moonlight imparts gentleness

春蘭典雅的聖潔

The holy elegance of spring orchid

夏荷不染的氣節

The untainted vitality of summer lotus

秋菊傲潔的風韻

The haughty rhythm of autumn chrysanthemum

冬梅綻放的堅貞

The solidarity of winter plum blossom

竹子的高節虛心

Tall bamboos stand humble

松柏的傲骨崢嶸

Pine's and cypress's lofty character is towering

柳枝的婀娜柔順

Willows graceful and docile

小草的欣榮頑強

Grass bright and strong

這一切無不可使人重新發現物欲名利遮蔽的本我

Everything can bring us to rediscover ourselves

buried under avarice and greed

使人格得到陶冶 心靈得到淨化

Purify and indulge the soul

讓我們從煩惱轉變為對遼闊的關注

Turn trouble into broad concern

讓我們從對死亡的恐懼轉變為對人類生命規律的坦然

Turn fear of death into acceptance for nature’s way
