今天的讀者來函是這樣的：

夏天快要過去了，最近的天氣也開始變得平和了。家裡旁邊的那隻小母狗每年都生產一次，今年也不例外，昨晚還聽到牠的孩子嗚嗚地叫呢。

說到這隻小母狗，當初走路時只能抬起左後腿，一擺一擺地慢慢走；現在有時竟追著路過的摩托車，對著不熟的路人吼叫呢。看起來，最近牠的飲食改善了點，身體也好起來了。身上的皮膚病也變得少了。躺在我們家門前時，落下的毛也不如往常多了。

人的生活和狗的生活也差不了太多，也有種種起落。但是咬緊牙關，總是會過去的。
