　火在鍋底燃燒
　他舉著大勺子
　猛攪鍋裡的文字
　是浸在湯湯水水裡的

　攪呀攪，攪呀攪
　他早已冒汗了
　而且汗濕，汗流浹背
　鍋裡的文字沸騰著
　也是早已冒汗
　也是汗濕，汗流浹背

　喔，熱呀，熱呀
　難怪，是仲夏之午嘛

　他有些受不了了
　喘著大氣
　鍋裡的文字也受不了了
　也喘著大氣
　同步的

　幸好這時文字熟了
　啊，起鍋了
　文字冒著汗
　汗溼了，還汗流浹背
　他也冒著汗
　汗溼了，汗流浹背

　起底呀
　文字成了詩
　他也成了詩
　都冒著汗
　汗溼了，還汗流浹背呢

Which soak in the soup

Stirs, and stirs again
He is sweating earlier

The characters are boiling
Are sweating too

Hot, oh, hot
No wonder, it’s noon of mid summer

He is almost unable to bear
Puffs and blows
The characters beneath the pot are unable to bear also
Puff and blow also

Luckily, the characters are ripened this time
Ah, it’s time to take them out of the pot
The characters are sweating
Wet with sweat, streaming with sweat still
He is sweating also
