２００２年秋天　鄉村小天后黎安萊姆絲（LeAnn Rimes）推出〔Twisted Angel／扭曲天使〕大碟

為了爭取控制自己事業的主導權　這回萊姆絲不讓父親Wilbur C. Rimes操刀

而選擇其他製作人　她也擔任執行製作
首支單曲是夏天發行的〔Life Goes On〕
上張專輯〔I Need You／我需要你〕已完全走流行樂風
這張大碟則更積極將２０歲的黎安塑造成性感小女人
〔Life Goes On〕的原曲是首旋律討好 節奏中板的流行曲
在這首黎安也有參加譜寫的歌曲中
編曲上依稀可以感覺出Country-Pop的味道
不過大家熟悉的應該是它的Pop-Mix(MV版)
這個版本的編曲細緻 　流行味更濃 也更易讓大眾接受

只是美國觀眾似乎不受絡
此曲並沒打進流行榜（成人抒情榜得到＃９　鄉村榜＃６０）
雖然〔Life Goes On〕是首相當出色的歌曲
但〔Twisted Angel〕卻成為黎安出道以來銷售最差的一張大碟　而且廣受惡評
由於基本歌迷流失太多
使得萊姆絲下一張專輯又趕緊走回Country-Pop路線

不過〔Life Goes On〕較合國際市場口味

MV中處處可見攝影機在萊姆絲衣著單薄的身體取窈窕的曲線上流連
