２０１２年，４４歲的澳大利亞歌壇天后凱莉米洛（Kylie Minogue）參加美國獨立愛情恐怖電影［Jack & Diane］（Magnolia Pictures發行）演出，排名第四．

４月先在Tribeca電影節首映，１１月在美國上映．

電影飽受惡評，票房悽慘．

凱莉為［Jack & Diane］演唱主題曲［Whistle／口哨］（Parlophone唱片發行），

與冰島電子樂團múm（母親）合作（掛名Kylie Minogue and múm）

由múm成員Gunnar Örn Tynes，Örvar Þóreyjarson Smárason創作．

Gunnar Örn Tynes表示： 「這不是我們可以寫的米洛典型流行歌曲，但我們更願意根據電影來寫這首歌 ...」

Múm，Árni Rúnar Hlöðversson製作成一首電子音樂／實驗音樂抒情曲，

合成樂器與管弦樂的編曲營造出一股幽暗，靜謐的氛圍，速度緩慢．

起初凱莉以氣音演繹，接著波形節奏出現，最後復歸平靜．

［Whistle／］獲得普遍正面評價。 法國音樂刊物稱這首歌是「黑暗、溫暖的聲樂表演」。

《Slant》雜誌的Sal Cinquemani 表示，「這首曲子有六分鐘的輕快、碧玉（Björk）風格的鼓聲編排和閃閃發光的合成器聲音，伴隨著勇敢的管弦樂演奏和凱莉氣喘吁吁的歌聲以及常常難以辨認的歌詞。
