李叔同的送別和憶兒時是兩首歌的歌詞都非常典雅，旋律也相當優美。送別原曲是Dreaming of Home and Mother (by J.P. Ordway), 憶兒時原曲是My Dear Sunny Home (by W.S. Hays). 兩首均有百年的歷史了，也分別被翻唱成日本歌旅愁和故郷の廃家 (作詞者 犬童)。老李曾在日本混過幾年，所以這兩首中文名曲應是來自犬童的旅愁和故郷の廃家，而非美國的原曲。中日兩個版本都被廣為傳唱，但老美好像對英文原版的沒什麼興趣，可能是太白話的原因吧.. 有老李的珠玉在前，實在無法造次，想想來個台語版的..
