Yesterday was just not my day. It was a complete and utter doozy! It was one of those days where at every turn some new and surreal and just crappy situation engulfed my happiness and well – I’m so relieved it’s all over. It was a day that made me doubt the system. Doubt myself. Doubt people. Doubt goodwill. But most of all, thank the universe I have the most amazing man by my side through it all. For that, I am beyond lucky. I suppose that’s just the way life goes sometimes. And we just have to roll with the punches. I can roll. I can also admit that it definitely made me want to assume fetal position and never leave the confines of my tiny home. Weird…? Maybe. But if you ever had one of those days, I’m sure you feel me. And END RANT.

Alright. So let’s move on. I have scones! Big, bright, pretty ones. Look at all those blackberries. Look at all that lime! And the glaze? Sheesh! Aren’t they just show-offs.
