who needed to attend the exam for entering the colleges in Taiwan.

(二) Neighbors
  Well says a Chinese old saying, " A relative who lives far away means
less than a neighbor who lives nearby. " However, for certain reasons,
people in modern society no longer interact so well with their neighbors as they did in the past time. They live in the same neighborhood, but don't say "hi" very often. In a big city like Taipei, people who have lived in the same building
for years may not even know each other's name. Being busy, lack of security,
and perhaps a little bit self- centered, are all the possibilities why people 
choose to be indifferent to their neighbors.

  In order to have a more friendly neighborhood and society, what can we do to improve the relationship with our neighbors ?  First of all,
show our good will by greeting them often. Secondly, invite or visit our neighbors when there are special occasions such as birthday parties,
family reunions, and some tradtitional holiday activities like
barbecuing on Moon Festival. And finally, offer sincere support and 
assistance when our neighbors are in need of help. Taking care of the
children when their parents need to go out can be a perfect example.

  I believe our society would be a better place to live in if we all realize
the importanceof this matter and start to seriously manage a good 
relationship with our neighbors.
