Kiss Me Goodbye
一般人提到英國歌星的橫霸美國就想起披頭四，
其實在披頭四之前，就有好幾位英國歌星登陸新大陸，
其中又以姵圖拉克拉克（ Petula Clark） 最早。
姵圖拉克拉克生於1931年，其隨即嶄露頭角，
常與另一位童星茱蒂安德魯絲一起表演，
被稱爲英國的秀蘭鄧波兒。
1960年姵圖拉克拉克開始到法國演唱，1961年在巴黎結婚，
婚後，她的歌唱事業在歐洲開始走下坡，
她的經理人安排她到美國發展。
1964年以一曲“Downtown”大受歡迎，
以後在60級70年代在美國的歌壇風靡了許久。
這首1968年的吻別(Kiss Me Goodbye)算是她的稍晚期作品。

這首歌帶我回到初中生的時光。
我一直以為歌詞的第一句是“We choose it when we lose it".
google 才知是"We choose it, win or lose it". 這一錯就是好幾十年啊。

她也唱英文以外的歌曲﹐但聽不出所以然來。
她的英文好歌太多了﹐尤其是她帶民歌腔調的歌﹐好聽極了﹗
