杜鵑再拜憂天淚， The bleeding cuckoo calls Heaven for help;

精衛無窮填海心。 Steadfast bird vows to fill the gap.

PS. The author, a scholar and diplomat in the late Qing Dynasty, invited Mr. Liang Qichao to establish a newspaper agency in 1896, the year after Taiwan was ceded to Japan. The author wrote the poem to expect Mr. Liang do something to help the falling China. Liang attempted this in a futile manner two years later.
