深居俯夾城， Secluded In the city outskirts 

春去夏猶清。Springs gone,  yet summers chilly

天意憐幽草， Heaven pity the forgotten grass 

人間重晚晴。but we cherish the gloaming.

並添高閣迥， Broader view of the attic, 

微注小窗明。 Slant twilight on the windowsill.

越鳥巢幹後， The birds from dry nests

歸飛體更輕。 Returning with an easier flight.
