Recently, a woman was shot to death by a squad of policemen at the doorstep of her apartment because she held a cleaver on her hand in a confrontation with police. 

The news caused a sensation among Chinese circle in America, but not as much in mainstream media.  Attached below is the video of illustration and comment on the incident, a tragedy that could have been avoided.

PS As a young nation, the US is quite different from time-honored China in many ways, as in characteristic culture and political system.  So, the immigrants in America must do as Americans do.  BTW, a college classmate once said that his professor of American History told him and other students that if they could distinguish the difference between US marshal and State sheriff, they could get the credits.  FYI, I did not select that course.
