"Get cold feet" or "have cold feet" means you get timid, nervous or even being not sure whether you want to do it or not before the real event comes which you have had planned for a long time. If you get cold feet prior to the presentation, you should get a cup of coffee or tea to relax, and you would find your confidence back, expel the fear and feeling of uncertainty.

It is common to have a cold feet just before something major. But its crucial to know that it widel differs from having stinky feet. Its an idiom well defined in your language here, keep it up!(yitzchak.kerrigan@feerock.com)
