1. Temperature "drops." (驟降):

"Drop" means to fall quickly. Therefore, when we say temperature drops, it means the weather suddenly turns much colder.

"Drop"就是下降的速度非常快速。因此，當我們說temperature drops，其意思為天氣突然間變得冷非常多。

2. cold air storm (冷氣團):

"Cold air storm" refers to a cold air mass, especially, in winter. As a cold air storm strikes us, the temperature will drop, and we are going to put on thick clothing to fight against coldness.

"Cold air storm就是指一團冷空氣。特別是在冬天的時候，當冷氣團侵襲，溫度將會驟降，我們將會穿上厚重的衣物來禦寒。 

3. She is "shivering." (她在"顫抖"中):

"Shiver" means body slightly shakes due to feeling cold, ill, or frightened. The case here means shivering on a cold day.  

"Shiver"的意思是輕微的抖動，特別是因為覺得寒冷、生病或是覺得害怕。 這裡是指在寒冷的天中顫抖。

4. "bone-chilling" day ("寒風刺骨的"天):

"Bone-chilling" means very cold while your bones feeling cold as well. The coldness even goes inside your body!

"Bone-chilling"的意思是非常冷，連骨頭都覺得冷。寒冷完全進入體內。

5. "freezing-cold" day ("天寒地凍的"天):

"Freezing-cold" means very cold as well. As you see "freezing," it means ice. Thus, "freezing-cold" also means "ice-cold." 

"Freezing-cold"也是非常寒冷的意思。當你看到"freezing"，就是指冰的意思。因此"freezing-cold"指的是"像冰一樣寒冷"("ice-cold") 。

"Layering dressing style" is a common phenomenon in the wintertime. People put on a piece on a piece on a piece of clothing to stay warm. It is pretty much like onions, layering.

"Layering dressing style"是指在冬天的一個常態現象。人們穿上一件又一件又一件的衣物來抗寒。這滿像洋蔥的，層層堆疊。
