太陽揮灑了一整天熱力，終於倦了

在夜幕徐徐降落下退向幕後

薄紗似的黑色輕輕漫淹而至

無孔不入，越漫淹越深沉……

江水一無倦意，仍然繼續不斷

潺潺吟詠自創的詩句

如一名吟遊詩人，撫琴輕吟淺唱

為江上，為夏夜，添料增彩

那些遊艇和竹筏特別清醒

睜著明亮的燈眼，在江上浮泛

遊艇上不時噴濺出遊人的歡樂聲

鸕鶿下水捕魚的影像不時映現

夏夜，漓江上到處是一幅幅動畫

熱鬧非凡，別具一番情趣

當太陽倦了，退向夜幕後方

當薄紗似的黑色漫淹各處……

The sun sheds its heating power all day long and feels all in at last

Moving backwards the veil of night when night falls

Endless darkness

Brimming over pervasively…

The river is still flowing gently

Reciting its self-written verses tirelessly

Like a wandering poet singing in a low voice while playing the zither

Adding lustre to the river, to the summer night

Those pleasure boats and bamboo rafts are especially eye-catching

Floating about on the river with their bright lamp-eyes open

Cheers and laughter burst out frequently on the pleasure boats

Often the reflections of cormorants diving to catch fish can be seen

In a summer night, moving pictures can be seen everywhere on Lijian river

Very bustling, offering unique interest

When the sun feels all in and moves backwards the veil of night

When endless darkness brims over pervasively…
