This is the only way for the purification of beings for ordinary people, to overcome troubles and sadness, pain/misery, the Satipatthana meditation (Four Foundation of Mindfulness) is the way to go on the correct path.
【Kayanupassana (Mindfulness of the Body / Contemplation on the Body 身念處)】Contemplate the impurities of the body and the desires are put out.
【Vedananupassana (Mindfulness of feelings or sensations / Contemplation on Feelings 受念處)】Contemplate the suffering of feelings and thus wanted to leave or to be released from it.
【Cittanupassana (Mindfulness of mind / Contemplation on Thoughts 心念處)】Contemplate the impermanence of the mind and will no longer be stubborn, persistent or attached.
【Dhammanupassana (Mindfulness of mental phenomena or mental objects / Contemplation on Dhammas 法念處)】Contemplate the non-selfhood of phenomena and attain the nature of the Void or immaterial.
