One day late at night, the door lock woke up the house key and complained, "I work so hard everyday to guard master's house, but yet you are master's favourite, he always have you by his side everyday, I really envy you!"

And the key replied in dissatisfaction: "You stay at home comfortably everyday. I have to follow master in the sun and rain, everyday and is very exhausted! I am really tired, I envy you more!"

The key wanted to have an easy life like the lock, so he secretly hid himself.

As the master got home, he noticed his key was missing. Being frustrated he smashed the house lock and threw it to the bin. As he entered the house, he found the key, and angrily said ” The lock is already smashed, what is the point of keeping you now?" He threw the key to the bin too after finished talking.

The lock met with key in the rubbish bin and sighted: "We came to such sad fate today because we stood on our respective side and we didn't offer each other mutual support and cooperation. We did not see each other's value and effort but too preoccupied with our own hindrances, and we were jealous and suspicious of each other."

Relationships works both ways, engaging in endless arguments and shifting responsibilities results in conflicts and thus leading to a lose-lose situation. Strive for a win-win results with mutual cooperation and thrust, be appreciative of each others efforts.

有一個富翁得了絕症，他覺得自己將不久人世，心中很難過。

一日，夜深人靜，鎖叫醒了鑰匙並對鑰匙埋怨道：「我每天辛辛苦苦為主人看守家門，而主人喜歡的卻是你，總是每天把你帶在身邊，真羡慕你啊！」

而鑰匙也不滿地說：「你每天待在家裏，舒舒服服的，多安逸啊！我每天跟著主人，日曬雨淋的，多辛苦啊！我真的厭倦了，我更羡慕的是你！」

鑰匙也想過一過鎖那種安逸的生活，於是把自己偷偷藏了起來。

主人出門後回家，不見了開鎖的鑰匙，一番折騰後，主人氣急之下，把鎖給砸了，並順手把鎖扔進了垃圾堆裏。

主人進屋後，找到了那把鑰匙，氣憤地說：「鎖也砸了，現在留著你還有什麼用呢？」說完，把鑰匙也扔進了垃圾堆裏。

在垃圾堆裏相遇的鎖和鑰匙，不由感歎起來：「今天我們落得如此可悲的下場，都是因為過去我們在各自的崗位上，不是相互配合，相互支持與合作，也沒有看到對方的價值與付出、而是這山望著那山高，彼此斤斤計較，相互妒忌和猜疑啊！」

很多時候，人與人之間的關係都是相互的，互相扯皮、爭鬥，只能是兩敗俱傷，唯有互相配合，相互欣賞、相互團結、相互支持、相互信任、相互珍惜、方能合作共贏。
