For a very long time(2 years), I haven't had a nice vacation. Part of it is due to my hectic schedule. Another part of it is due to my unsettled visa issue. However, I finally have one week off this month.... Some of my co-workers asked me, "hey! where are you gonna go for your vacation?" I replied, "home!". They were all kinda surprised. My boss predicted, you will end up running errands or doing all sorts of home maintainance chores.

Honestly, staying home and doing nothing is becoming a luxury for a full-time worker like me. In the past, I took off mostly because I had slight illness...This time, it's a reall time OFF. My alarm is off, my YIM is off and my blueberry is off. I am full of delight and excitement....It's amazing that we have all these modern inventions to hook us up with the outside world. They bring convenience and also guarantee we're up and running every minute.

Now getting away from them bring me peace and calmness. It's almost a bit absurd..haha.

I plan to "travel around the bay area" and enjoy the silicon valley life from a brand new perspective!!
