此曲是詞曲名家Michael Masser＆Linda Greed的作品
１９７７年曾由黑人歌手George Benson灌錄過（流行榜Top４０　黑人榜亞軍）
本來唱片公司總裁並不希望惠妮翻唱此曲
但在作者的要求下改變心意
〔Greatest Love Of All〕成為大碟首支單曲〔You Give Good Love／君深愛我〕的B-Side
但由於頗受歡迎最後仍獨立出來主打
〔Greatest Love Of All〕是一首旋律動人唱腔純熟的抒情歌曲
