１９９６年 ２６歲的美國偶像創作歌手湯米佩吉（Tommy Page）發行〔Lovin’You／愛妳〕專輯
這是他加盟日本唱片公司波麗佳音後的第二張大碟
１９９１年後 湯米在美國便急速走下坡
不過亞洲仍有一批固定的支持者
所以他便將事業重心放在遠東
在〔Lovin’You〕專輯中 湯米翻唱了英國歌手約翰威特（John Waite）在１９８４年登上美國單曲榜冠軍的〔Missing You／想念妳〕
前一年（１９９５）美國黑人天后蒂娜透納（Tina Turner）也重唱過（剛好是１９９６年發行單曲）
可是跟前兩者不同
約翰威特與蒂娜透納走的是激昂強勁的流行搖滾味
佩吉則是較輕柔的抒情版
在優美的鋼琴與吉他聲中
湯米以他有氣無力的細緻嗓音時而呢喃 時而略帶激昂詮釋此曲
風格與先前版本迥異 但一樣好聽
MV也跟佩吉以前的斯文書生形象不同
只見健身有成的湯米改走性感路線
在海邊以許多清涼打扮展現其明顯的胸肌與結實的身材
