由美國Richard Perry製作．

這張專輯因四位前披頭四成員的參與以及許多客座明星的加盟而備受矚目，這也成為史達之後許多專輯和巡演的標誌性特色。

大碟首支單曲──［Photograph］登上英國單曲榜＃８　美國＃１．

由美國Robert B. Sherman +Richard M. Sherman兄弟創作，

最初由美國搖滾歌手Johnny Burnette1960年灌錄（US#8,UK#2）

Richard Perry製作．成一首早期搖滾曲，

旋律琅琅上口，節拍輕鬆愉悅．

 

這首歌的演出促成了林哥史達與他昔日披頭四隊友保羅麥卡尼（Paul McCartney）的重聚。

儘管專輯《Ringo》的內頁說明中提到麥卡尼用卡祖笛演奏了獨奏部分，但樂評人Michael Verity引用了歌曲製作人Richard Perry的話，說那其實並非卡祖笛：

 

「事實上，［Youre Sixteen］中那段聽起來像卡祖笛的獨奏，是保羅在我們回放時即興演唱的，所以那段獨唱是他唱的。”

 

史達的版本至今仍是少數以「卡祖笛音色」獨奏為特色的冠軍單曲之一。
