１９７７年７月, 將滿３９歲的肯尼推出第三張大碟［Daytime Friends／日間朋友］

由Larry Butler製作　樂評中等

同名歌曲為首波主打　Ben Peters譜寫, 被製作一首鄉村流行曲

在輕快的節奏間, 羅傑斯敘述一段婚外情：妻子與丈夫的好友出軌, 維持日間朋友, 夜間情人的曖昧關係

［Daytime Friends］讓肯尼二度在Billboard副榜－鄉村榜奪冠
