第一代北漂族 信義房屋不動產企研室專案經理曾敬德表示，新北市第一圈靠近台北市，有許多橋樑可以通往北市，早年北上工作的第一代北漂族，很容易就到這些區域定居，由於購入不動產的時間較早，因此統計平均持有不動產的時間也較長久，隨捷運網絡逐漸成形，新北第一圈仍是北市通勤族的購屋首選，這些區域陸續有新的重劃區可選擇，不斷有新的購屋人移入購置中古屋，也逐漸拉低屋主平均持有時間。
林口、淡水與三峽屋主持有時間短 統計顯示，新北市的三重、板橋、永和平均屋主持有時間為18年，中和、土城平均持有17年，新莊、蘆洲、泰山平均持有16年，新店平均持有15年，汐止平均持有14年，三峽平均持有13年，樹林平均持有16年，淡水平均持有12年，林口平均持有10年。
