在北美，感恩節是為了感謝上蒼今年豐盛賜予，就像中國人過的農曆春節般，是用來謝天的；這一天，無論妳在那個角落，無論妳有多忙，成千上萬的人都會趕忙著回家，吃頓飯並與家人團聚。這不禁讓我想起在台灣的年節，每趟十幾個小時的塞車，為的不也是相同的理由嗎？但對身處異鄉的遊子們而言，失去背後文化的支撐，這日子變的也只不過就是個節罷了。
今晚是四天連續假期的最後一夜。這是我們認識後的第五個感恩節，也是不在一起過的第五個感恩節。我已經厭倦了這種相處的模式，累了也無力了；也許對妳來說，太多事是不能夠放棄的，猶豫不決就是妳的人生，放棄我，會不會就是那個最好的決定呢？還是妳在等我先放棄？不記得曾經在哪裡看到這麼句話：愛的反面不是恨，是不在乎。
妳聽過這首歌嗎？看過它的歌詞嗎？我在乎的根本不是那束花，我在乎的是～是不是已沒有什麼再值得我在乎了？
妳呢？妳忘記帶來的真的只是束花麼？如果妳是這樣想，就什麼都別带了吧！
