英國失智照護專家警告，若長者在傍晚到夜間突然出現情緒或行為異常，可能是失智症相關的「日落症候群」（sundowning syndrome）。
日落症候群常見於中、晚期失智症患者，但在發病初期也可能提前出現，其中有5大徵兆，包括明顯痛苦、焦慮、激動、幻覺或妄想，以及喊叫且好辯，而且冬季天黑得更早，患者在下午3至4時更容易表現出徵狀。
太陽報報導，英國失智症照護組織Dementia UK首席護理長海歐（Hilda Hayo）受訪指出，日落症候群通常發生於黃昏至晚間，症狀可能持續幾分鐘，也可能長達數小時。
她表示，冬季日照時間縮短，下午3時、4時天色就已變暗，患者因此更容易在這段時間變得焦躁不安。
根據英國阿茲海默症協會資料，約20%的失智症患者會出現這類症狀。醫界尚未找出明確病因，但多數研究推測與腦部退化引發的生理時鐘紊亂、冬季光照不足、藥物副作用，以及患者疲累、飢餓或疼痛等因素有關。
對於已出現日落症候群徵兆的患者，阿茲海默症協會建議，照護者應先確認其需求是否被滿足，例如是否飢餓、疼痛或需要如廁。如患者感到激動，照護者可嘗試以愉快的回憶、熟悉音樂或喜愛的食物協助轉移注意力，降低情緒波動。

西城男孩（英語：Westlife）是在1998年7月成立的愛爾蘭男子歌唱團體，其創始成員有5位，有奇恩·伊根、馬克·費海利、尚恩·菲南、布萊恩·麥克法登以及尼基·柏恩。2004年，布萊恩·麥克法登離開團隊，之後西城男孩一直保持4位團員直至2012年6月該團解散。西城男孩活躍於1999年以及進入千禧年後的10年間，共締造了14首全英冠軍單曲，在英國音樂史上名列第三位。
