尺蛾科（學名：Geometridae），又名尺蠖蛾科，是鱗翅目尺蛾總科之下的其中一個有龐大成員的科，下計有3.5萬個物種。幼蟲叫尺蠖，又名蝍𧑙（音同「即蹴」）。
尺蛾科的學名Geometridae來自希臘語，由「大地」（γη 或 γαια）與「量度」（μέτρων）組成，因為其幼蟲的移動形態就好像在丈量一樣。
比亞金星尺蛾有17種之多，本種主要分布於中高海拔山區，為近似種中最常見的，外觀近似淡紋金星尺蛾但本種前翅中線的帶紋較寬大，末端未呈細腰狀。
