我們觀賞冬季奧運的花式溜冰。有一個女選手在指定動作，被男伴選手向前一拋，然後在空中迴旋數圈後，穩定著地。女選手發現自己沒有跌倒時，開心的漏岀大大的微笑的表情變化，在慢動作影像重映時，清楚的揭露在電視螢幕上。 我們也跟 著舒了一口氣。
看溜冰,滑雪，我不得不想身為父母，有幾個能經得起自己的兒女去受這樣的訓練。我先生有一些對滑雪著迷的同事，每年一定要上山滑雪。回來常述說他們受傷的經歷，我們聽了怕怕，對滑雪一點也不熱中。女兒說， 那些人其實對他們的Battle Wounds 引以為傲呢!
Battle Wounds – 說得好， 有 battle 就有wounds。對於執意爭戰的人，不管是那一種人生的爭戰，不知是否每一個人都有能力在沒有贏得勝利後，仍然為自己的Battle Wounds 驕傲?

或許只能稱為狼狽了.....

I am empathetic to your note.
Have you heard what average men usually do after a beer with pals? They show off not the green bills from the wallets, not the pretty photos of fiancées, but the scars in what you named as battle wounds.
