1.lodge

Explain:to have temporary accomodations.

Example: The troops lodged in the village school for two weeks.

2. supplier

Explain: A company, organization, or country that supplies or sells a product or service.

Example: As the supplier for his new family, he had to take his royal responsibilities seriously.

3 refugee.

Explain: Someone who leaves their country, especially during a war or other threatening event.

Example: They want to present a picture of refugees getting much better services than other people.

4. filter

Explain: To pass something through a filter to remove particular things contained in it.

Example: The noise of the traffic filtered through the heavy curtains.

5. disclose

Explain: To allow someone to see something by moving the thing that covers or hides it.

Example: At the end of the path, turn right and push past some foliage to disclose a hidden pool.

6. coup

Explain: An occasion when a group of people takes control of a country, usually by means of military force.

Example: This development in turn would almost certainly provoke another military coup to prevent it from happening.

7. cave

Explain: A large hole in the side of a hill or under the ground.

Example: The cave has two main chambers, with a series of galleries and chambers leading off them.

8. charitable

Explain: Intended to help people who are poor or sick, or who need advice and support.

Example: Making no noise about their charitable and humanitarian inclinations.

9. daring

Explain: Brave enough to do dangerous things.

Example: She is a daring director who is constantly pushing the limits.

10. entertain

Explain: To consider an idea or feeling and allow it to develop in your mind.

Example: The Duke loved to entertain when he was staying at Windsor.

11. soak

Explain: To put something into a liquid and leave it there for a period of time.

Example: If you want your paste to not be green, soak the pistachios overnight, and then remove the skins with a tea towel.

12.aeronautics

Explain: The science of making or flying airplanes.

Example: The leading industries are steel, machinery, chemicals, automobiles, metallurgy, aeronautics, electronics, mining, and textiles.

13. audible

Explain: Loud enough for people to hear.

Example: The sound of a door opening was clearly audible.

14. build up

Explain: To make someone bigger, healthier, and stronger, especially by making them eat more.

Example: You need lots of fresh fruit to help build you up.

15. consistent

Explain: Continuing or developing steadily in the same way.

Example: Since joining the team last year, he has become our most consistent performer.

16. inefficiency

Explain: The inefficient way in which someone does something.

Example: The investigation showed up the inefficiency of the management.

17. operate

Explain: If an organization or company operates, it does its work.

Example: The company has been operating in South America for two years.

18. perception

Explain: A particular way of understanding or thinking about something.

Example: There is a perception that management only wants to cut costs.

19. stockbroker

Explain: Someone whose job is to buy and sell SHARES in companies for other people.

Example: Any stockbroker can sell your shares for you, but you need to shop around for the cheapest deal.

20. range

Explain: The limits within which a person or organization is able to deal effectively with something.

Example: Temperatures are expected to be in the range of 75 to 85 degrees.

21. responsible

Explain: Deserving to be blamed for something that has happened

Example: The manager is responsible for the general running of the theater.

22. long-term

Explain: Continuing to exist, be relevant, or have an effect for a long time in the future.

Example: Her long-term goal is to move into other sectors such as manufacturing and electronics.

23. lame

Explain: Unable to walk normally because of an injury or illness affecting the leg or foot.

Example: However he realized that it just would not be that easy, for he himself had a lame leg and could only move slowly.

24. rotate

Explain: To move in a circle around a fixed central point, or to move something in this way

Example: The eight of us try to rotate the different jobs.

25. abandon

Explain: To leave someone when you should stay with them and take care of them.

Example: George almost persuaded me to abandon my studies and join him.
