I’ve never taken a bath in tub since my military in Kinmen over half a century ago.  At that time in the defending zone where I was, there had no bathroom at all.  The only place I could take a bath was beside a well outside the camp.  You know, I was an officer, so I had to avoid the rush hours with soldiers and pick the right time to take a speedy wash, especially in the wintertime when the temperature usually nearing zero degree.  I must finish washing within five minutes, including taking off my clothes and put them on back.  So, I called it a "battle shower".  O my goodness!

Hence, I changed my bathing habit.  Even in a ritzy hotel with jacuzzi, still I would take a shower only.  You know, I am a little allergic to the cool air from air-conditioner, so how can I tackle the Indian Summer these days in Taiwan?  Well, usually I take shower twice to cool my body down.  For me, the shower is almost nothing but a quick "沖涼". 

But these day the water from shower head is sometimes a little lukewarm, it is not "沖涼" anymore.
