閑云潭影日悠悠, Like wayward clouds and changing shadows on lake, people are roaming all day long at leisure.
物換星移幾度秋。 Through vicissitude, how many autumns will come in the future.
閣中帝子今何在? Where has King of Teng been? The one used to pay visits here?
檻外長江空自流。 Outside the railings only the lone Yangzi flows yonder.
PS The genius poet Wang Bo of early Tang Dynasty died at only 27, what a shame it was! His immortal 滕王閣序 is absolutely beyond translation.
