如果你走在路上發現一個紙袋，紙袋的樣式圖案都很吸引你的注意，你會不會撿起來看一看？如果你一撿起來就有ㄧ個警察跑出來說：「你犯了竊盜罪，跟我回警察局。」你會不會覺得自己被陷害了？
翻開《忠誠吾愛》沒幾頁，發現女主角的職業是〝忠誠調查員〞，專門調查人對愛情的忠誠度，當下心中不禁嘀咕：「這種事是可以測試的嗎？女主角或是作者未免對人性太有信心了吧？」接下來進入工作細節的描述。調查員根據調查對象的資料來打扮及準備談話資料。發揮無限魅力勾人上鉤之後再依據對方有無上床的意圖來判定他是否會對另一半忠誠。
想也知道有人的長相、身材、打扮、談吐、興趣都符合我們對戀愛對象的想像時，誰不會淪陷。如果是我在結婚前遇到另一個比新郎更理想的對象，雖說不至於一定變落跑新娘但猶豫一定會。而婚後如果遇到，說不定還會認真考慮離婚重新開始第二春。
總之女主角以為自己是在進行拯救愛情中遭背叛者的任務的這種想法實在是太天真了。看她寧願背叛男友對自己的信任也要執行任務，我已經可以預期他們未來勢必因此分手。畢竟，她隱埋實情去做一件她答應不做的事不正如同她的那些調查對象一樣嗎？想來作者安排這樣的發展就是要讀者去思考忠誠與背叛這兩件事。
再繼續看下去，發現故事果然如預期般發展。雖然情節是可預期的，但作者的文筆敘述流暢，對白精采，讀來也頗有趣味。而忠誠與背叛這兩個嚴肅的議題在女主角的內心掙扎和男女主角的精采對手戲中也被反覆的討論而不顯枯燥。
最後，女主角終於體悟什麼才是愛情中的忠誠與背叛。結局當然也是皆大歡喜。喜愛都會女性小說的朋友別錯過了喔。
PS. 我覺得如果你需要找忠誠調查員來調查另一半其實你可以直接跟對方分手了。因為顯然你根本不信任對方。而如果你的另一半請人來調查你，就算你通過測試，你也可以跟對方分手了。因為對方顯然根本不信任你。諜對諜的愛情未免太傷人了，不如不談。
