Ah-Gong:

If there is one thing that I will never forget about you, It is that you were always smiling. No matter what was going on or where you were, whether it be staying with us in Chicago or quietly watching television in your Taiwan home, you always had a grin on your face that made everyone around you more joyful.

Although I am very, very saddened to see you depart from us, I know you lived a good, successful,and fruitful life. You raised six loving, supportive, and caring children, which is perhaps the most difficult yet rewarding achievement in life.

You taught those children as well as your grandchildren what it meant to love unconditionally, even if it meant putting up with an obnoxious, arrogant grandchild.

Thank you for being there for me. So even though I carry great sorrow in my heart, I am also extremely joyful and grateful for the life you lived and the wisdom you imparted.

I love you! Ah-Gong!!
