"brother sun, sister moon" is a movie about Saint Francis of Assisi.
this movie (1972) was directed  by Franco Zeffirelli, who also directed Academy-Award-winning movie "Romeo and Juliet" in 1968.

the title song reflects the simplicity of St. Francis' life and alludes to his epiphany.

Preoccupied with selfish misery.

Note: Spanish colonists first adopted the name "San Francisco" for the beautiful city in California.
