Sakyamuni Buddha talks about precept and instructed the reverends about the Parajika ( a term of a specific precept in buddhism), ruined has four metaphor.

1. Broken stone can't be compounded.

2. Broken roots can't be revitalized.

3. Dead people can not be resurrected.

4. Sewing needle without and eye can never carry thread.

Sakyamuni Buddha mean to say, disciples with profound sins are like cayed wood cannot be carved (an intractable / unteachable person), and should be 「discarded / abandoned」.

Sakyamuni Buddha reckons that the 「Five kinds of evil acts leading to rebirth in the unremitting hell」 is against the underlying principle, the often said 5 sins are:

1. Kill father.

2. Kill mother.

3. Kill Arhat.

4. Harm Buddha and caused Buddha to bleed.

5. Sanghabheda, disrupt the harmony of the community of monks and nuns, to cause schism.
