【Grand Master News Bulletin】 Disciples should exert iron fist power against those who destroy others’ wisdom and opportunity to learn dharma. Even though Grand Master has attained forbearance and tolerance, there should still be Vajra next to Buddha protecting Buddha, dharma and the school!

（TBSky News/Reported by Master Hui-Jun）30^th June 2013, His Holiness Lian-Sheng Living Buddha Sheng-Yen Lu was invited to lead to perform group cultivation of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Yoga. During the self-introduction prior the Puja ceremony, a disciple from Canada stands to thank Grand Master, because True Buddha has blessed the disciples that are affected by the flood on 21^st June, and therefore they survived.

After the group cultivation, Grand Master dedicated the merits: May Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva please bless and illuminate the sentient beings with Cintamani jewel (flaming/wish-fulfilling jewel 光明珠) so that they are safe and healthy, increase wisdom, bardo/early deliverance for the spiritual lives (release souls from purgatory 超渡幽冥) and all our wishes and prayers come true. Before the dharma talk, the MC announced that the activity organised by True Buddha Foundation, 「Unite One Heart with Buddha (與佛同心)」, the recite of the "Longevity/Amitayus Buddha Mantra" has reached a total of about 109,237,000. The news was greeted with thunderous applause, graditude to the disciples who chanted, and also wishing Grand Master to continue to live, longevity and healthy, and asserting his permanent abode in this secular world.

In regards to the introduction of the deity cultivated on the day, His Holiness Lian Sheng Living Buddha Sheng-Yen Lu disclosed: 「Grand Master has a predestined affinity with Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, because when I come to the real of human, he sends Ghost King to help, therefore I have Ghost King face on the back of my right thumb. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva also incarnate as Thubten Siddhi Rinpoche, he is nine years old now, has a perfect/consummation look,  before his mother gave birth, she saw Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva enter her fetal and got pregnant and gave birth after that. He always remind his parents to cultivate, he will need to learn Pancavidya (五明之學) (Pancavidya is a five classes of knowledge, the five science are: science of language [sabdavidya], science of logic [hetuvidya], science of medicine [cikitsavidya], science of fine arts and crafts [silakarmasthanavidya], and science of spirituality[adhyatmavidya]) in the future. Grand Master thinks that he has a very good complexion, he is able to observe karma of 3 lives period of many sentient beings. He is able to answer each of my questions when I showed him the photo. He will attend upcoming Pindolabharadvaja ceremony at Seattle. I specially mentioned the name of Master Thubten Dhargye (吐登達爾吉上師) twice today because he appeared when we chant the Fourfold Refuge Mantra (四皈依咒), I addressed Master/Guru's name to express my deep rememberance and respect. Guru is very happy that Thubten sect will be having a continuous lineage. Thank you to Guru Thubten Dhargye for giving me a lineage gift.......」

Grand Master changed the topic and continue with the dharma talk of the importance of the Guru of 【The Nine Stages of Dharma of the Great Perfection (Dzogchen 大圓滿九次第)】, Grand Master said:「The third Guru in human realm is Shri Singha (師利星哈), the common legend said that he is in China but also said that he is in India. He actually has a Chinese name: Hui-Shou Song (宋惠壽). He is born in Gansu, Western Xia/Tangut (西夏) people, very intelligent and studious since young and love to learn dharma, learnt Pancavidya in depth. He travels on Silk Road from Gansu and saw Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (觀音菩薩) at Afghanistan, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva instructed him to quickly look for Guru 【Manjushrimitra (妙吉祥友)】 to learn 【The Nine Stages of Dharma of the Great Perfection】 dharma. But he only knows the general dharma in the beginning, and only wish to learn Outer Tantras (外密) and Inner Tantras (內密)......, therefore went to Mount Wutai. The first place that Buddhism spread to from India is to Mount Wutai. He became an apprentice to a master here to learn Inner Tantras and Outer Tantras. His master is Bhelakirti (貝拉嘎底), Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva appeared the second time to him after he finished learning, and instructed him that he must go to India Sasaling (鎖薩州） Charnel Ground (cemetery 屍陀林), thereafter, he met 【Manjushrimitra (妙吉祥友)】 and learn dharma for 25 years.

「The highest dharma of 【The Nine Stages of Dharma of the Great Perfection (大圓滿九次第)】 is Ati Yoga (阿底瑜伽), which is a formula to attain enlightenment. After Shri Singha completed the study of 【The Nine Stages of Dharma of the Great Perfection】 dharma, there are lots of disciples learning the dharma from him, they are Jnanasutra (加那素扎), Padmasambhava (蓮華生大士) and etc. Padmasambhava sends five disciples to learn dharma from Shri Singha, and among the disciples, Vairocana is successful in learning.」「But the history of Tang Dynasty did not have any records of Hui-Shou Song, this is due to he is not from Tang Dynasty, Shri Singha is from the Tangut (Xixia)  The Great State of Upholding White Country (白國人) that is next to Tang Dynasty. How does Shri Singha able to travel long distance all the time? This is due to he is able to grab a handful of sand to throw into the air, and enter in it and walk rapidly, this is 【Underground fleeing (土遁)】. I only need to visualise body into nothing, and will be able to go anywhere when I shut my eyes.....」

The trinity incarnate as patriarch to save the sentient beings, indicates that 【The Nine Stages of Dharma of the Great Perfection (Dzogchen)】 is dharma of Esoteric Buddhism, His Holiness Living Buddha explained:「Atisa learnt dharma from Serlingpa for 12 years. Grand Master was at Tangut/Western Xia many lifetimes ago. Only I know Shri Singha is Han Chinese (漢人). Vajrapani (金剛手), Manjusri (文殊) and Avalokitesvara (觀音) are the human realm Guru/patriarch who teach 【The Nine Stages of Dharma of the Great Perfection】, to serve as a disciple and learn the dharma of 【The Nine Stages of Dharma of the Great Perfection (Dzogchen)】 from the Guru. 【Vajrasattva (金剛薩埵）】 is the integration of the three deities, therefore the Vajrasattva is the metamorphosis/forms of Trinity (三怙主) . Vajrasattva is the Dharma Prince of Five Great Buddhas, and incarnate as the Trinity.」 In regards to the enlightenment course of the third Guru, Grand Master said:「When 【Manjushrimitra】 passed away and attained nirvana, Shri Singha uttered a deep, heartfelt prayer calling on his master in front of the charnel house at Sosadvipa:【Master, I am not enlightened yet.......】, his master then gave him a booklet that contains the essential points of being enlightenment, Shri Singha attain enlightenment immediately after reading it!」

Grand Master used metaphors to indicate that nobody is comparable to Guru's specialization:「The so-called 【One minute on stage takes ten years of practice】, such as the small action of sideshow would consume a long period of time to practice, and Grand Master give dharma talks on the stage, is actually the essence/quintessence of hardship cultivation for many years. In addition, there are lots of miracles of Jesus, he can walk on the sea, and Saint Peter was eager to try after seeing it, originally, he may, by faith in Jesus to walk on the sea, but he lost faith and fell after seeing the roaring waves.」 Disciples are envy with the virtue of Master, but disciples would need to remember how Master attain achievement from hardship cultivation, disciples must follow and learn from Master, and also have fainth in order to attain succession!

In regards to the 【Anutpattika-dharma-ksanti (forbearance that is based on the cognition of the non-arising of all phenomena) (無生法忍)(forbearance and tolerance)】，Grand master explicate:「Those who understand 【Infinity / no rebirth】 will know how to be happy, else will be suffering. Human will suffer if he/she perserve in 【Birth】, able to realize and understand in 【Infinity / no rebirth】 will transcend. Enlightenment is the attainment status of 【forbearance that is based on the cognition of the non-arising of all phenomena 】, you are not practicing and fulfilling the 【Anutpattika-dharma-ksanti】 if you are still not able to forbear or tolerate.」

Grand Master instructed the disciples to discern the importance of apologetics: 「However, disciples will need to use the method of human realm against people who destruct dharma and others people’s opportunity to learn Buddhism and must exert the power. All disciples will need to unite to protect the continuity of True Buddha Dharma, it is necessary that we uphold the activity. When we are in the realm of human, sangha (a group of monks and nuns) and lay devout (在家眾) are inseparable. We must take action to stop those who destruct dharma and other people’s opportunity to learn Buddhism; else it will disintegrate the school who promotes dharma. We will still need to use a legally method to resolve the issue. Therefore, we should urge everyone to donate money or labour. In fact, even with a more serious issue will still not bothers or matters to me. I have made a vow to not file a legal suit against anyone. But there are Vajra next to Buddha, they will always protect dharma. Grand Master has attained 【Forbearance that is based on the cognition of the non-arising of all phenomena】, enlightenment means 【No rebirth/Uncreated】, but when I ask you why is there 【No rebirth/Uncreated】, you are enlightened if you are able to explain clearly! Enlightenment is also 【permanence, bliss, personality purity in the transcendental realm】(always joyful and peaceful).」

After Grand Master's exlanation, disciples has finally fully understand that the third human realm patriarch of 【The Nine Stages Dharma of the Great Perfection (Dzogchen)】 is Shri Singha, how True Buddha disciples should discern and actively protect the dharma......! Everyone has unlimited legal interest, there are thunderous applause at the scene, all is auspicious!
