Workshop details, as seen in poster:
Elementary Zen workshop, organised by Hua Yan Lei Zang Si Temple
Date : A 3-day workshop from 5th - 7th August 2013
Time : 9am - 5pm daily
Venue: Hua Yan Lei Zang Si Temple, Johor, Malaysia
Fees : Sponsorship amount to be at your own discretion
(Lunch will be provided by the temple for the 3 days)
Please include your name & contact number/email in the essay. The essay can be written in English or Chinese, but the participant must know Chinese. If the registrant does not know how to write, audio recording is also accepted.
All interested parties, including reverends, must send in an essay. The essays can be submitted to Federation of True Buddha School Malaysia or via email to: xuan.lianxuan@gmail.com .
Master Shi Lian Ming will select 25 participants for the workshop. The name list of selected candidates will be announced on 30 June 2013.
Previous participants of Elementary Zen workshop are advised not to register, so as to give others a chance.
Suitable candidates should have these suggested requisites:
1) Do daily practices
2) Not over 65 years old
The age suggested is just a recommendation. If you are over 65, but with a healthy body and able to sit for 8 hours daily over 3 consecutive days, your registration is still welcome. Master Shi Lian Ming selects participants based on the essays submitted, hence the age does not affect one's eligibility.
To register for this Elementary Zen workshop, please submit an essay of about 200 words to answer the 2 questions below:

2) What do you wish to gain from this workshop?
