「There was someone who would like to learn buddhism asked me a question:

【Can I know what have you obtained after learning buddhism please?】

I answered:

1. I will still get sick and it is unavoidable.

2. I will definitely get old and it is unavoidable.

3. I will eventually die, and would not be having eternal life.

4. The loved ones like son and daughter will not be together forever.

5. I would need to bear my karma and not vicariously.」

「That person asked again:

【If that is the case, that you can't escape and avoid, what is advatange of learning Dharma then?】

I answered：

1. I don't lose faith even though I get sick.

2. I won't be deaf but will be benign and benevolent even though I am old.

3. Dying heart would not be inverted even if passed away. 

4. Even though the loved ones are not nearby, I still pray for them and wish them that they are happy and healthy.

5. Will still be able to clear the bad karma regardless whether the environment is good or bad.

That person took refuge after response.」
