Be friends with Ghost

A lot of people like to ask me if I have ever seen ghosts. To be honest, not only have I seen ghosts, I am good friends with a lot of ghosts and spirits. For example Reverend Su who lives in the Cultivation Centre at Zhang Hua, Taiwan. Mr Zhong who lives in Taichung. Zhou Jia Cheng who lives in the Ping Lin hill. Reverend Su took his own life, Zhou Jia Cheng died of a heart attack and Mr Zhong died of bone cancer.

Would ghosts harm people? In most cases they wouldn’t. People and ghosts exist on separate planes, people usually can’t see ghosts and won’t even notice their existence or be hassled by them even if they lived with ghosts in the same house. However there are people out there that can interfere with ghosts and spirits, they can see ghosts. This type of person usually have a different type of spiritual body, they are more yin (as opposed to yang) and are therefore more likely to see ghosts. Majority of people at their death bed can see different appearances, as they become gradually unconscious, they can see illusory appearances. It is at this time the spirit gradually wakes up and what he sees at that time is one hundred percent ghostdom.

Majority of ghosts are not harmful, for example Reverend Su who died from drinking prison, he is a courteous spirit, when he first came to see me before, I was a little surprised but after I found out about the stories behind his suicide, I really felt for him.

The first time Reverend Su appeared in front of me was right after I finished geomancy reading at Jing Shan. The monastery was half way up the mountain, right next to a huge forest and cemetery. That night, I went for a walk in front of my house and Reverend Su stood below a clump of bamboo, wearing a black cassock with a white collar around his neck, he held a Bible in his hand. At first, I could not tell if he was a priest or pastor. I could not really see his face clearly, maybe because of he died by drinking poison, his face did not appear clearly.

“Hi” I said.

“I followed you from Jing Shan Monastery.” He said quietly. “The protectors at Jing Shan said you can help me with my problems.”

“What problems do you have?”

"I am a priest in the Golden Cross Church. I love my brothers and sisters, and every time there is a reunion I will visit but i get stopped by Guardian Angel Moore at the entrance. He thinks that my body is impure so he blocks me at the door. The only way for me to enter is for someone to sprinkle holy water on me, and I’ve waited this long to meet someone who can communicate with spirits."

I agreed to help Reverend Su. I got to Golden Cross Church, bottled up some holy water. I kneeled down to pay respect and as I was leaving, I looked up and saw angel Moore stretched out huge wings, covering the roof of the church. There is a reason for the angel’s appearance. He saw me using a bottle to fill up blessed water and was very curious.

He asked: “Your eyes aren’t like those of an average man, can you see me?”

I said: “Yes, I can see you, your have your wings covering the entire church, are you the angel protector Moore?”

“Indeed, why did you fill the bottle with holy water?” He asked.

“To purify Reverend Su’s body so he can re-enter the church freely.” I answered.

“Ah! Reverend Su is a good priest, I could not let him in out of responsibility, If he purifies his body I will no longer stop him. I hope his cultivation will help him raise above other spirits in order to erase his sins.” Said Angel Protector Moore.

Despite of our respective religious faith and big age difference, Reverend Su and I became good friends.

In another instance, Mr Zhong and his family lived in Zhong Xing New Village in Taiwan. His wife placed his columbarium at home after he passed away. She came to me and told me that Mr Zhong’s bones are being kept in a Pagoda in NanTou Temple. That means the spirits need to be led and transferred back to the village. I agreed to help and prepared everything on Saturday night. Around midnight, Mr Zhong came and stood right in front of my bed.

He yelled impatiently: “Remember tomorrow! Remember tomorrow!”

I said: “Don’t worry, I will definitely be there!”

I asked him: “How did you die?”

He rolled up his suit trousers, showing two bare legs, one leg without any skin or tissues and the bones are all black. I asked: “Did you die of bone cancer?”

He nodded, his face looked so dark as if he was about to cry. I reassured him I would help.

On Sunday, I went to Zhong Xing New village and performed the full buddhist rituals, I completed spirit invoking, cleansing, settling and chanted the sutras of repentance.

At the end of the ritual, I asked Mr Zhong’s wife: “Did your husband die of bone cancer?”

“Yes that is right” She answered.

“Was he quite an impatient person?” I asked.

“That is right, how did you know?” She asked curiously.

I laughed and didn’t say a thing. I thought to myself, if I did tell her, would she believe me?

有很多人喜歡問我見過鬼沒有？其實我不但見過，且和許多鬼靈是好朋友，我的鬼靈朋友很多，例如住在彰化花壇一座叫「靜園」修道院的蘇神父，住在坪林山中的周家臣，住在南投碧山的鍾友仁先生等等，他們全是我的好朋友，蘇神父是自殺死的，周家臣是心臟病突發死的，鍾友仁是骨癌去世的。

鬼會不會害人？按道理說，根本就不會，因為人走人的陽關道，鬼走鬼的獨木橋，見鬼的可能性太小了，就算鬼和人同住，人也不容易發覺鬼的存在，所以不會受到鬼的干擾。至於另外有一種人經常受鬼靈的干擾，甚至看見鬼，是他本人的靈體較一般人略不同，也可以說陰性較強的靈體較容易遇見鬼，大部份的人要臨終之時，見到異相，那是其人神智漸漸不清，腦海中已生幻相，同時他本人的靈魂逐漸的醒轉過來，因此他所見的，自然是不折不扣的鬼域世界。

大部份的鬼，不是兇惡的，例如服毒死的蘇神父，他是一位彬彬有禮的鬼靈，他之來見我，我雖有些意外，但了解真相之後，也替他大大的感傷呢！

蘇神父第一次出現，是我到「靜山」測量之後，修道院在花壇的半山間，右旁是一大片陰森森的墳區，那天晚上，我在家的前院漫步，蘇神父遠遠的站在一叢竹子之下，身上穿黑色法衣，脖子上圍著白領，手上抱聖經，首先我分不出他是神父或牧師，他舉止安詳，頻頻向我額手為禮，他的臉我看不清，大概是服毒死狀難看，所以故意不顯現太清晰。

「你好。」我說。

「我是從靜山修道院跟著你來的，」他文靜的說：「靜山的守護神說，你可替我解決困難。」

「你有什麼困難？」

「我是某地金十字堂的神父，我愛我的兄弟姐妹，但，每次聚會，我欲回去，總是受到聖堂守護天使摩爾乃的阻擋，祂認為我身不潔，不能進聖堂，而且我是帶罪之身，因此拒絕我，除非有人將聖水洒在我身上，才可進入，我等著機會至今，才總算等到一個通靈的人。」

我答應了蘇牧師的要求，到了金十字堂，用瓶子裝了聖堂內兩側的聖水，進聖堂，我行單跪禮，出聖堂我抬頭，看見一位巨大的天使伸出兩片大翅膀，掩蓋著教堂的屋瓦，白色的容光使人感到耀眼，聖堂的天使顯現出來，總是有緣故的。天使見我用瓶裝聖水，大概感到新鮮和奇怪罷！

祂說：「先生眼睛異乎常人，莫非你能見我？」

「是的，我是看到你的，翅膀覆蓋教堂，你是守護天使摩爾乃嗎？」

「正是，你用瓶裝聖水為何？」

「替蘇神父淨身，使他能自由出入聖堂。」

「唉！」天使說：「蘇神父是好神父，但也想不開，我基於職責，祇有阻其進入，因為聖堂不容污穢的靈進入，他若淨了身，我就不再阻止他了，但願他的靈修能超凡入聖，成為一個帶罪贖身的聖靈。」

我和蘇神父雖是不同教派，但由此事關係竟成了好朋友，他的年齡雖比我大得多，但我們是忘年之交呢！

至於鍾友仁先生的家眷住中興新村，他的妻子欲在家中安其靈位，找到了我，鍾先生的靈骨則存在南投碧山岩寺的靈骨塔，這是要引靈的，我準備星期日到中興新村替鍾家安靈位，但星期六晚上鍾先生來了，那是半夜，他峙立在我床前。
