The Importance of being wholeheartedly dedicated

When I recall the numerous disasters I have encountered in my life, they have definitely been catastrophic disasters. It was my devotion to High King Avalokitesvara Sutra that helped me to overcome each of these catastrophes.

When I found this sutra, I have chanted and also advised others to chant and print this sutra, I’ve printed this sutra as well myself. I saw vision of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, that definitely confirms my affinity with Avalokistesvara Bodhisattva.

In True Buddha Tantric Buddhism, there is a section one recites the High King Avalokitesvara Sutra. Personally, I feel that being wholeheartedly dedicated is utmost important.

Since receiving this sutra at a young age, I have been chanting continuously for sixty years. All I wanted to do was to be “liberated from the suffering of birth and death, and freed from all the many kinds of suffering.”

High King Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva’s appearance is really solemn, with a crown on her head , her face as round as a full moon, she looks like a Buddha. Wearing skirts, hanging necklace, earrings, bracelets, foot rings, standing on rainbow lotus which has Sanskrit characters written in gold, her whole body emitted bright lights, illuminating the worlds of the ten directions.

In my life, I have experienced countless number of disasters,

1. Attempted assassination by gangsters - they were all killed in a car accident.
2. Being chased and harassed by gangsters.
3. Escaped car accidents (I was not injured).
4. Escaped within centimeters with my body from being crushed to death by heavy machinery.
5. Slanted by the media.
6. Slanted by religious organisations.
7. Being framed for crimes.
8. Subject of scrutiny by politicians - however helpful people appeared to defend me.
9. Fell into a swamp trap and climbed my way back up.
10. To resolve and free myself from false accusations and being framed by gangsters.
11. Recurring illnesses, which I was able to recover.

and so many more…
None of these are small disasters, every one of them made me feel that I was living in a space between life and death. Even my own students who have taken refuge in me, wanted to bury their own master alive.

I chanted High King Sutra every day and night, so I could stay alive, and to continue to live in peace and write books each day. I came to realise the importance of being wholeheartedly dedicated.

Buddha taught us to be wholeheartedly dedicated, by being wholeheartedly dedicated, we can achieve anything. As with the founder of True Buddha School, he knows nothing, all he knows was to be wholeheartedly dedicated on achieving buddhahood.

回想我這一生，災劫並不輕，所以能一一度過，「一心」尊崇《高王觀世音真經》是有關聯。

我得經、念經，勸人念、自己念、勸人印、自己印，普施《高王觀世音真經》，親見觀音，實大有緣也。

在「真佛密法」中，有一節，就是念《高王經》，我自己覺得「一心」很重要，我從年輕時得經，念到六十歲，就只想：

「能滅生死苦」。

「消除諸毒害」。

高王觀世音菩薩其化身，真是有夠莊嚴的，頭頂王冠，面如滿月，其貌如佛,冠垂雙冕，身披天衣重裙，掛瓔珞、耳環、手環，足環，腳踏彩虹蓮花，其背面有黃金梵字，周身放大光芒，照十方三世的世界。

我一生災劫實不可數──

一、流氓埋伏殺死。(流氓先出車禍)

二、流氓追逐迫死。(後來自行免難)

三、車禍死。(人落地，無傷)

四、機械撞死。(差分毫)

五、媒體圍剿。(差一點想不開)

六、宗教圍剿。(一一突圍而不死)

七、陷害圍剿。(一一自行解去束縛)

八、政治迫害。(貴人出現)

九、泥沼陷阱。(掉下去又爬出來)

十、歹徒陷害。(免脫危難)

十一、老病迫身。(解脫重關)

還有。......

這每一件災難都不是小事，每一件都令我生不得、死不得，甚至皈依弟子也要將自己師父活埋而死，這種苦我都受了。我日念《觀音經》，夜念《觀音經》，我能活一甲子，隱居「葉子湖」寫書活命，實在是不簡單了。

我始終覺得「一心」太重要了，佛亦教導我們「一心」，只要會「一心」，一切成辦。其實真佛宗的創辦人，什麼都不會，他會的，只是「一心不亂」成佛。
