美國鄉村搖滾樂團［波可／Poco］東山再起之作──軟式流行搖滾──［Call It Love／叫它愛］

１９６８年成立於加州洛杉磯的波可（Poco）是美國著名鄉村搖滾樂團

自１９６９推出首張大碟後, 商業成績始終不起色

直到１９７８／１９７９年才以第１１張大碟［Legend］（US#14／金唱片）與單曲［Crazy Love］走紅

但之後又回到先前不佳狀態

在１９８４年專輯［Inamorata］失利後, 被Atlantic唱片解約

不過波可仍繼續巡迴, 主要是小型場館, 只是團員來來去去, 數度更迭。

 

１９８９年, 在當紅歌手理察瑪爾克斯（Richard Marx）與他的經紀人Allen Kovac──後者剛好負責波可的經紀業務──要求下, 波可（Poco）五名原始成員重組,

９月推出在RCA唱片的第１７張大碟［Legacy／遺產］

由（理察瑪爾克斯的製作人David Cole）掌舵, 瑪爾克斯也為他們創作製作一首歌曲

走鄉村搖滾樂, 軟式搖滾, 當代流行搖滾等曲風

樂評頗佳

 

首支主打是［Call It Love／叫它愛］

由Ron Gilbeau, Billy Crain, Rick Lonow（2016年加入Poco）譜寫

被製作成一首軟式流行搖滾, 旋律討好, Randy Meisner嗓音詮釋和煦溫暖

這回［Call It Love］市場反應良好, 登上Billboard單曲榜＃１８　為波可事業第三首Top２０熱門曲, 也是事業名次第二高

另外拿到副榜－成人抒情榜亞軍　ˊ主流搖滾榜亞軍

加拿大單曲榜＃１１──波可在當地最高名次

讓樂團聲勢再起

在兩首Top４０單曲的助益下, ［Legacy］成為波可第二張金唱片（５０萬張＋）

只是這回的成功有些短暫, RCA公司決定放棄他們,

團員再度投入個人事業, 直到２００２年才推出下一張錄音室專輯
