［菊花夫人／Madame Chrysanthème］是法國著名作曲家安德烈•梅薩熱（André Messager，１８５３－１９２９）作曲, Georges Hartmann &Alexandre André撰寫歌詞的抒情歌劇（comédie lyrique）

劇情根據法國海軍軍官／作家Pierre Loti的半自傳小說［菊花夫人／Madame Chrysanthème］

描述Loti在長崎與一名日本女子的短暫婚姻

這部歌劇包括四幕與一場序幕

１８９３年搬上舞台

後來成為普契尼（Giacomo Puccini）歌劇［蝴蝶夫人／Madama Butterfly］的參考對象

［菊花夫人］與［蝴蝶夫人］不同, 更強調日本社會的其它面向, 提醒聽眾這是個豐富的世界

另外,前者主角Pierre Loti對菊花夫人的理解與教導失敗, 而後者主角B.F. Pinkerton對蝴蝶夫人則是主導與站在主人地位

Georges Hartmann &Alexandre André的歌詞改變原著的憤世嫉俗, 轉成一個真正的愛情故事

並製造兩名水手間的嫉妒衝突
