5. 牧牛

鞭索時時不離身，

恐伊縱步入埃塵。

相將牧得純和也，

羈鎖無抑自逐人。

 
“Taming the ox”

Always carry a wipe and rope,
and govern it with full awakening.

To prevent ox may step into the illusive
dust of sensual organs.

To practice herding skills in
becoming more profound,

Until Ox can be well herded at ease
without requiring a bridle.
